Dr. Susan Eggebrecht received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Indiana University. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana School of Optometry in 1989. As part of her training she completed an externship at the Atlanta Omni Eye Center, the Indianapolis Eye Center and the Fort Wayne Veterans Hospital. She has been certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease since 1989.
Dr. Eggebrecht is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Indiana Optometric Association. She has participated in several medical eye missions in St. Vincent. She has been in private practice in Ft. Wayne since she graduated, and started Vision Care Associates in 1999.
Dr. Eggebrecht is a native of Ft. Wayne and is happily married to her husband Kirk, and they have 5 children that keep them very busy! Besides spending time with her family, she enjoys running in her free time.
