Natalka Fedoriw, M. D.

Long time Fort Wayne resident and fellow Boilermaker, Dr. Natalka Fedoriw has over six years of experience in ophthalmology and patient care. Dr. Fedoriw obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind., and her Medical Degree from Indiana University, Indianapolis, Ind. Her continued studies include an internship at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Ill., and an ophthalmology residency at Wayne State University's Kresege Eye Institute in Detroit, Mich.

 

Both Indiana and nationally licensed, Dr. Fedoriw has contributed to many articles in the ophthalmology field and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association and Ukrainian Medical Association of North America.

 

Specialties and focuses include cataract surgery, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases.

When not working, Dr. Fedoriw enjoys volunteering her time and professional services with the Community Harvest Food Bank and Matthew 25. Dr. Fedoriw has volunteered with the Global Medical Foundation by evaluating and treating patients during the Annual Regional Ophthalmology Conference in Lviv, Ukraine. She has also volunteered multiple times with the Yucatan Eye Mission journeying to rural Mexico.

 

Dr. Fedoriw's hobbies include reading and traveling. Likewise, Dr. Fedoriw is moderately fluent in Ukrainian and spent a summer semester abroad in Kiev, Ukraine, as an undergraduate.
